Less Container Load (LCL) is a type of transport in which the importer or exporter will use part of a container to send its cargo.
This modality offers a practical and economical opportunity to send your cargo and its use is recommended for those who want to send a product individually or in small quantities.
As mentioned previously, in LCL transport mode the cargo is sent inside a container but with certain space limitations. In this way, the load can be covered by boxes, pallets or even crates to guarantee its integrity and handling. Container expenses will only refer to the space allocated for your cargo, as the remaining space will be filled with materials from other recipients.
